A Lightning Ridge black opal from the old Coocoran mines, cut several years ago, very stable. The brilliant green colors in this gem go deep inside with great luster and clarity, like liquid color. A dark based Lightning Ridge Opal, N-6 in body tone. This is a big 12.15ct, 13.3x14.6x8mm high domed stone filled with brilliant electric green colors. These green colors move across the surface top to bottom and left to right as the opal is moved. Colors bright even in low room light. Base color is a dark grey and the green just explodes off the surface. SO-932, $479.
